IBN 12th Anniversary (Investment Board Nepal, Singha Durbar 2023): Engineering Precision in a High-Protocol Venue
- Challenge: To host a prestigious anniversary celebration for the Investment Board Nepal within the highly secure and architecturally constrained environment of a Singha Durbar auditorium (typically a Prime Minister’s boardroom). The venue featured a very low-height ceiling with delicate acoustic panels and had limited physical capacity for over 150 esteemed attendees.
- Emazing’s Solution: A thorough site survey was conducted, including an analysis of the structure above the false ceiling. A special custom-designed lightweight mounting truss was engineered and installed to support stage lighting without damaging the ceiling or compromising the venue’s integrity. New acoustic panels were precisely cut to accommodate lighting fixtures. Critically, after the event, Emazing meticulously reinstalled the original acoustic panels, leaving the sensitive venue in its original condition. To overcome space limitations and include more participants, a seamless hybrid event model was implemented using Microsoft Teams.
