Dominance in 3D Projection Mapping

Transforming Surfaces into Spectacles

Emazing asserts its position as the "first and the only company doing projection mapping in Nepal" or, at minimum, the nation's foremost specialist in advanced 3D projection mapping techniques.

This signature expertise has been showcased across a diverse spectrum of applications, consistently delivering awe-inspiring visual experiences. This claim to market leadership is supported by a deep understanding of the technology and a portfolio of successful, often pioneering, projects.

EVENT DETAILS

  • Challenge (NIS 2024): Efficiently managing registrations for a flagship international government summit where attendee numbers significantly exceeded initial expectations (over 3000 actual registrations versus the 800 initially contracted for the specific registration component managed by Emazing). The event involved high-profile international delegates requiring a seamless experience.
  • Emazing's Solution (NIS 2024): Deployed their proprietary Emazing Event App suite, featuring a robust QR-code based online registration system and on-site self-check-in booths. The system, designed for scalability, handled the surge in registrations smoothly. Emazing had proactively warned the organizers about potential overflow, demonstrating foresight. This solution directly highlights the power of the proprietary Event App.
  • Impact (NIS 2024): The registration process was handled smoothly, ensuring a professional and efficient experience. Client feedback acknowledged Emazing's crucial role: "Yes emazing did warn us about this issue many times. had it not been for emazing and their experiese it would have been a total mess. thank god we selected emazing." Emazing has been a key partner for multiple editions of the Nepal Investment Summit (2017, 2019, 2024), providing comprehensive event management, technical production, digital solutions, and meticulous planning, including detailed venue layouts.
  • 1. Methodology & Technical Capacity

Emazing's process involves detailed site assessment, precise 3D modeling of the target surface (be it a heritage building, a contemporary facade, a custom-built stage, a product replica, or even moving fabric), creative content development (including 2D/3D animations, video narratives, and abstract visuals), and expert technical execution using high-power projectors (ranging up to 28,000 lumens for events like TGIF Fashion Week on vast surfaces like 48ft x 14ft) and sophisticated media server technology for seamless playback and synchronization.

    2. Applications

2.1. Pioneering Landmark Projections for Social Impact (Ethical Approach)

A hallmark of Emazing's work is its commitment to using this technology on national monuments exclusively for non-profit organizations to deliver impactful social messages. This ethical stance distinguishes Emazing and underscores its respect for cultural heritage. Notable projects include the "first time in Nepal" building projection for a Save the Children fundraising event at the Garden of Dreams (2013). This was followed by impactful campaigns on national treasures like Dharahara (for UNICEF on World Children's Day 2021; for USAID on World Antimicrobial Awareness Week 2022), Gaddi Baithak Durbar Square, and Ghantaghar (for UNHCR on World Refugee Day; for WHO). All are executed with non-destructive methods, ensuring these powerful visual tools add value to cultural heritage, not detract from it.

2.2. Corporate Branding & Festive Spectacles

Creating innovative seasonal greetings for major telecom companies Nepal Telecom (NTC Sundhara building, Tihar 2074 & 2075) and Ncell, replacing traditional lighting with dynamic projections. Projection mapping was also utilized for the grand opening of the Tiger Palace Resort.

2.3. Revolutionizing Product Launches with Projection

The Nissan Terrano launch featured 3D mapping for an "immersive and surreal experience." The 8848 Vodka special artist edition launch showcased an 8-foot replica bottle, revealed via a lift mechanism, with animated artwork projected onto its surface (potentially full 360-degree mapping). A groundbreaking "first in Nepal" was the projection mapping onto a live model's moving dress during a ballet sequence for the Prime Tiles launch, dynamically showcasing tile textures.

    2.4. Transforming Fashion Events

Emazing introduced 3D projection mapping to a fashion show for the "first time in Nepal" at TGIF Fashion Week, utilizing a vast 48ft x 14ft surface, an extremely bright 28,000 lumens projection system, and HD live feed integration, requiring "countless hours of planning testing."

    2.5. Elevating Concert Experiences

Designing and executing projection mapping for iconic Nepali bands like 1974 AD (at St. Xavier's Ground) and Nepathya (at Patan Durbar Square in 2013 and in Pokhara), transforming stages into dynamic visual landscapes. For the NSJF Pulsar Sports Awards, this involved a 60ft x 16ft abstract surface where sportsmen interacted with projections, and live performances were synchronized with dynamic graphics.

    2.6. Engaging Public Interactive Experiences

Creating interactive projection mapping games and activities for festive occasions, such as for LABIM MALL during Christmas and New Year's Eve 2017. 1 The Annapurna Express article from December 2019 extensively features Emazing and Kumud Singh, corroborating the company's early focus (around 2012) on projection mapping and its pioneering projects like those for Nepal Telecom, Ghantaghar, and Gaddi Baithak.

    2. Bankers’ Meet 2024 – Objective: Establishing as a “Must-Attend” Premier Event

  • Challenge: Building on the respect gained, the new objective was to transform the Bankers’ Meet into an event that Nepal’s banking CEOs would actively desire to attend, enhancing its prestige.
  • Emazing’s Engineered Solution: Renowned international FinTech futurist Brett King was secured as the keynote speaker. To make a familiar venue feel unique, Emazing introduced Nepal’s “first” 360-degree cylindrical LED screen (12ft diameter, 8ft high) in the pre-function area, displaying “high-tech holographic style animation.” The main hall featured luxurious sofa seating in F1Soft’s brand colors for all 200 guests, with custom side tables and lampshades intricately wired to the main event light mixer, dimming in sync with stage lights for a dramatic opening.
  • Impact: A VIP guest commented, “I have been to hundred of event in this venue. i never imagined that the hall could be setup in such a way.” F1Soft expressed their delight: “You guys never fail to amaze us.”
  • 3. Bankers’ Meet 2025 – Objective: Grandeur on a Budget & Resilience in Crisis

  • Challenge: Maintain or exceed previous impact despite a limited budget, at a new venue with a high ceiling, and an extremely tight one-night setup window.
  • Emazing’s Engineered Solution: A massive 70ft by 14ft neoclassical structure was conceived as the stage backdrop, constructed from lightweight thermocol. To achieve precision for projection mapping under budget and time constraints, Emazing innovatively designed and built their own hot-wire CNC machine. An LED screen was seamlessly integrated. CRISIS: Moments before commencement, the main power generator failed, followed by the primary backup proving insufficient. Despite having a “backup for the backup,” Emazing’s team, demonstrating extraordinary composure and resourcefulness, immediately mobilized and installed an additional, more powerful generator. This instance is a particularly compelling mini-story of competence under extreme pressure.
  • Impact: The event proceeded flawlessly with only a 15-minute delay. The neoclassical structure and projection mapping delivered the intended “jaw-drop” impact. F1Soft expressed immense relief: “We were so scared when the generator failed. But after that it was flawless. Thank you.”
